Hong Kong: Station
Finally, we are marching in democratic spirit, to
have our backs against our queen. Candycrushing ambition,
Shouldered through the collared collared people leashed
unleashed I ran away from her. Nicole Kidman (Search Léon)
Natalie Portman is the new queen of Hong Kong
station. A Hong Kong inside Hong Kong;
Kowloon is Yellow Peril 2.0. I cannot smell the queen’s
perfume. A brand name accented too high to climb. She
watches my back at 9, I hated her at 6—I pass—I think
……………“we will never be friends,”
for I am forever monosyllabic. I know she will soon
be dethroned. She will be gone some evening, hours after
my back bowed to her grace.
